The Governor of West Nusa Tenggara, Zulkieflimansyah issued a circular to close all entertainment venues such as discotheques and karaoke venues throughout the island of Lombok. The circular was officially issued today Sunday (22/03) to prevent the spread of Corona Covid-19, which is currently endemic in most provinces in Indonesia.
“Asked by Regents / Mayors of West Nusa Tenggara to temporarily close the entertainment venues managed by the Government, Regional Government, Private, Tourism Villages and Communities,” said Zul
In the circular, Bang Zul explained that the closure of all the entertainment venues would be effective starting Monday, March 23, 2020.
However, the closure is not permanent but only temporary until an unspecified time limit.
“(Closing) is only temporary and at any time it can change according to the development and evaluation results,” he said.
Meanwhile, data from the Corona Center NTB mentioned, that to this day, Sunday, March 22, 2020 there has not yet been found a positive case of Corona Covid-19 in NTB.
However, the number of People Under Monitoring (ODP) and Patients Under Monitoring (PDP) Corona Covid-19 every day continues to grow.
The number of ODP in NTB province reached 300 people, while the number of PDP was 19 people. The largest number of PDPs came from the city of Mataram as many as 5 people, then East Lombok, 4 people, Central Lombok 2 people and other districts / cities 1 PDP each.
